Scotiabank Saddledome

Scotiabank Saddledome – PSC SmartRoof System

In 2010 The City of Calgary and The Calgary Flames organization studied the challenge of restoring the 30 year old Sarnafil roof on the Saddledome. After an exhaustive two year process, they chose to proceed in 2012 with the Polymer Science Corporation Smartroof System. This approach resulted in a lasting, seamless, UV stable waterproof coating. In addition, this solution avoided decommissioning the facility during repairs as well as the high cost and environmental impact of a full demolition and rebuild.

” As the PSC SmartRoof System distributor for Western Canada, I was the lead consultant on the project arranging both delivery of the product and selection of the applicator. This included arranging for testing and technical specication of the PSC Smartroof System.

The Calgary Flames and The City of Calgary were so pleased with the success of this high profile project they have turned to the PSC Smartroof System and Sherger Construction for many of their waterproofing requirements.”
