Building Envelope Makeover
The Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Centre had a 40 year old exterior requiring a cosmetic facelift. In addition, it required maintenance on hundreds of windows to ensure the integrity of the air barrier. Sherger Construction was called in to replace the weathered caulking around the windows and paint the exterior with PSC’s Better Than Paint.
The end result was a fresh look and colour scheme to go along with a fully warrantied waterproof exterior. The work was completed on time and on budget at a fraction of the cost of removing and replacing the exterior cladding with no disruption to hotel operations.
